Virdi, AIA
Principal
Jit
Virdi received a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors
from Chandigarh College of Architecture, Chandigarh, India
and Master’s of Architecture from Georgia Institute
of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia. Additionally, he attended
several Executive Education Programs at Graduate School
of Design at Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In
the earlier years of his architectural career, he worked
with close associates of world renowned architect Le Corbusier
and a Fellow of Frank Lloyd Wright’s Foundation.
Thus, the design philosophy is deeply rooted in Modernism
and appreciation of new building materials and construction
methods.
Design
is a problem- solving endeavor with many constraints unique
to each project and client. He works concenciously and
encourages a team approach to find a solution that’s
functional, visually stimulating, aesthetically pleasing
and meets the budgetary constraints. Several of his projects
won awards and are published in various publications.
